Shahid Bukhari B.Sc. (Hons), London. D.T.H.M. (England)
Shahid enjoyed a successful career as a computer consultant, running an IT company. He is also involved in community work as part of an educational trust. After studying traditional medicine for some years, Shahid graduated in Tibb Traditional Medicine and Herbalism from the Mohsin Institute, England, under the supervision of Hakim M. Salim.
As a child, Shahid noticed that the older members of the community usually went to consult practitioners of natural medicine, preferring them over the modern health providers. When asked why, they responded that the use of pharmacological medicines, in the long term, left them feeling weaker and worse off. This left a lasting impression and shaped Shahid’s understanding of different schools of medicine. Shahid found, in his own experience, that treatment targeting root causes of illness met with better long-term wellbeing, and this persuaded him to follow his instincts into a profound and ancient profession. Shahid has been involved in establishing a branch of the Mohsin Clinic of Natural Medicine in South London.
He continues to develop his skills in natural medicine, he is currently studying Iridology for the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists accreditation.
